The House by the Cemetery (1981) is an Italian horror film directed by Lucio Fulci. A graphically violent film centered on murders by some mysterious evil entity living in the basement of an old house.
Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund) is in Hell and needs a dark soul to put fear into the hearts of the kids on Elm Street again in order to come back. He poses as Jason’s mother, Pamela Voorhees and tricks Jason into going to Elm Street and causing havoc for him. As Jason Voorhees slashes apart the friends of Lori (Monica Keena), Will (Jason Ritter), and Kia (Kelly Rowland), Freddy’s powers return. Only problem is for him, Jason doesn’t want to leave. It becomes a problem for both Freddy and Lori’s remaining friends. Lori and the others come up with a plan that will pit the two supernatural mass murderers in a death match.
Somewhere in a Nepal Jungle, a photo journalist Ted (Michael Pare) is attacked by a Werewolf, while having sex with his girlfriend in his tent. Using his shotgun, Ted blows off the Werewolf’s head, but not before his girlfriend is killed. Ted moves back home to live close to his sister Janet (Mariel Hemingway) and her young son, Brett (Mason Gamble). Their German Shepard named Thor suspects something is amiss with Ted. Every night Uncle Ted tries to resist the call of the full moon, including handcuffing himself to a tree.
